Chelsea Connor, Founder & Principal
Chelsea Connor has over a decade of experience in effective communications around the globe. Chelsea has worked in a TV newsroom, in several campaign war rooms, and in a multitude of countries delivering stories in print and online that have propelled projects into the public eye. Now is your opportunity to engage her through her newly launched C3: Chelsea Connor Communications.
Chelsea currently serves in the ranks of the labor movement, which she joined in 2017 after completing a two-year contract with the Government of Canada serving under Prime Ministers Harper and Trudeau. She was responsible for the strategic communications planning and execution through the transition of governments, and on its portfolio of digital, advocacy, diplomatic, energy, trade and foreign relations work. Through her development of innovative digital campaigns and strategies, she helped triple the Government of Canada's social media communities across three platforms, launched LinkedIn for Global Affairs Canada, and implemented mechanisms to ensure growth on the platforms well into the future; just like she does for C3 clients.
Currently, Chelsea serves as the Director of Communications for the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) and as a Vice President of the International Labor Communications Association (ILCA). Prior to serving in the Government of Canada, Chelsea worked as a political consultant at two firms in New York City, her clients included variety of politicians, non-profits, advocacy organizations and labor unions. Prior to that, Chelsea served as a political producer and researcher for Tom Brokaw on NBC News’ “Decision 2016”, “Decision 2012” and “Decision 2008” as part of the Emmy Award winning election night broadcast teams. Chelsea has also served in several campaign and government press offices in New York. A Brooklyn, New York native, Chelsea holds a B.F.A from New York University in Technical Production and a M.A. from Fordham University in Elections and Campaign Management.
